Ear Piercings

We offer ear piercings on a walk-in basis, but if you require two piercers, we recommend calling ahead to confirm availability.

If you're under 16, bring a parent or caregiver for consent.

Pain, redness, or swelling after 48 hours is not typical and should be addressed with our pharmacy team.

What to Expect:

  1. Consultation: Our team will guide you through the process and help you choose your earrings.

  2. Piercing: We use a specialized piercing gun designed for ear piercings, with pre-loaded, sterile, single-use cartridges to ensure a safe and hygienic experience.

Ear Piercing at Gee's Pharmacy

  1. Clean Hands: Wash your hands thoroughly with antibacterial soap before touching the piercing.

  2. Cleaning: Use our Antiseptic Piercing Solution. Rotate the stud 180° left and right, but only half turns to prevent hair from wrapping around the post.

  3. Frequency: Clean your piercing twice daily for 6 weeks. Over-cleaning can damage the skin and cause infection. Avoid removing the stud for the first 6 weeks. After that, do not go longer than 24 hours without wearing jewelry in the piercing.

Aftercare Instructions

Mild pain, redness, or swelling is normal within the first 48 hours.

  1. Persistent discomfort could indicate infection.

  2. If you experience any signs of infection, follow these steps:

    • Clean with our Antiseptic Piercing Solution three times a day.

    • Do not use hydrogen peroxide or alcohol, as they can delay healing.

    • Use a cotton ball or swab to cleanse both sides of the earlobe.

    • Apply a small amount of solution to promote healing before reinserting the post.
